Reminders

Cloister Car Wash coupons are available at the grocery card table.  This is a fund raiser for the August Mission Trip to the Gulf Coast.  Inside and outside wash is $20 and outside only is $12.  With your help we will reach our goal of covering the cost for members of our parish to spend a week assisting with the continuing recovery efforts.  Thanks to all who visited Isaacs last Sunday, a portion of the money you spent will support the mission trip.

Summer Video Program for children relies on volunteers to help with our children.  Thanks to all who volunteered to help with this program during the summer months.  We have one date left to fill, July 20, if you can help please sign the sheet on the bulletin board in front of the church or call the Parish Office.

Volunteers are needed to make casseroles and serve at Our Daily Bread on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Serving times are 11:45 to 12:15.  Call Gail or Russ Eckloff to volunteer your help or if you would like more information.

Handbell Choir is in need of ringers.  Can you read music - that is the only prerequisite.  Contact Roger for more details.  Practice will resume in the fall.

God's BIG Backyard is the theme for Vacation Bible School this year.  Vacation Bible School begins Sunday, July 27th through Thursday, July 31st from 5:30 PM to 8:30.  A child friendly meal will be served each night.  Registration forms will be in the Sunday bulletin or you may call the Parish Office to register a child 848-1862.  Invite your friends to join us for a fantastic time in God's BIG Backyard.

Foyers are groups of 6 to 8 parishioners who gather for fellowship and to deepen relationships in the parish.  Most meet monthly and share a meal together.  Foyers are formed by the Associate Vestry in September and run to the summer.  New groups are formed each year so participants may have the opportunity to meet a variety of parishioners.  Sign up sheet for Foyers may be found on the bulletin board in front ofthe church and on the bulletin board in the Parish Hall.  Sign up now to be part of a Foyer this year.

Midwest Flood Victims need our help.  Episcopal Relief and Development is the means we have to respond to those in need.  Checks may be placed in the alms basin on Sunday and marked ERD or sent directly to Episcopal Relief and Development.  Giving is possible online by going to the ERD website at www.er-d.org

Have you returned a July 2008 to June 2009 pledge card?
